Towson University adds nutrition information kiosks to dining halls

The kiosks were installed during spring break and are touch screen.

BALTIMORE—In an effort to improve student health and dietary wellbeing, nutrition information kiosks have been added to the West Village, Newell and Glen dining halls.

The kiosks, which are touch screen and operate similarly to iPads, were installed during spring break, though the University’s DineOnCampus website, which offers similar customized nutritional guidelines, has been active for some time.

In conjunction with the website dining.towson.edu, the informational kiosks will predominantly allow students and faculty to check the general healthiness of their meals and review the nutritional values of other menu options.
