Texas Tech adds food truck
The StrEat truck is the first school-owned food truck in the Big 12 Conference.
LUBBOCK, Texas—Texas Tech University is adding a new gastrointestinal attraction to its campus.
Capitalizing on the ever popular quick and easy street food Texas Tech University’s Hospitality Services has crafted a new food truck for campus goers. The new StrEat food truck is the first school-owned food truck in the Big 12 Conference.
The StrEat franchise already has an existing location in Tech’s Student Union Building. However, the truck will have a menu that changes monthly. The menu will also feature Hospitality Service’s Head Chef Dewey McMurrey’s specialty pita tacos and Monte Cristo sandwiches.
