The board is made up of “a group of respected leaders, academicians and entrepreneurs whose recommendations help guide strategy for the company's North America region,” according to a Sodexo press release.
Bellinger is chairman of the board of directors of Nordic Windpower Inc., a manufacturer of wind turbines with headquarters in Berkeley, Calif. She is known for her expertise on diversity, equality and leadership development, according to the release. She previously worked at BP, where she developed the company’s global diversity and inclusion efforts and led its executive development program. Bellinger gradudated from Harvard University and was a recipient of the Benjamin A. Trustman Fellowship, the Pulliam Journalism Fellowship and a Rotary Fellowship for international studies.
Sodexo “looks to its North America Advisory Board for advice and counsel related to markets, business growth and issues that impact its corporate reputation,” according to the release.
