Sept. 11—When Rutgers students are asked what kind of food operation they'd like to see most on campus, guess what appears near the top of the list every time?
A Jersey diner.
Wish no more; here comes Henry's Diner, opening today on the Livingston campus in Piscataway.
"It's an amazing piece of equipment,'' says Nick Emanuel, pointing out an Electrolux high-speed panini press in the diner kitchen. "You can get paninis in 40 seconds.''
He points out the spacious range - "we have a lot of firepower here'' - and a Turbochef sandwich oven, which he describes as "phenomenal.''
