Hospital group holds cook-off

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — United Health Services chefs are battling to see who makes the tastiest soup.

The Department of Food and Nutrition for UHS is holding its first ever Compass Cookoff.

Binghamton General Hospital Chef John Obusek is offering his homemade roasted tomato and garden lentil soup.

Wilson Hospital Chef Larry Wills created a seven-onion bisque.

Cafeteria goers will have the chance to sample both soups for a dollar.

The proceeds will go to the the American Heart Association.

Chefs Obusek and Wills said it's great to see their talents helping a good cause.
