We held our first food show for students. We partnered with our [distributor], and named it “Let’s Eat! Educate and Taste.” We also had representatives from the USDA and the National Dairy Council. We educated students, parents and staff about local products and healthy eating. Vendors donated prizes to give to kids who filled out surveys for feedback on their products. Parents called the following week to say how wonderful the event had been.
