U.S. Sen. Bob Casey has introduced a bill to provide free school meals to students living with extended family members, WKBN reports

The CARE for Kids Act would provide free lunch to all students being raised by relatives. Casey, who represents Pennsylvania, said the opioid epidemic has placed many children under the care of grandparents and other relatives, and hopes that the bill will provide financial relief to these families.
