Kale and Ginger Smoothie
Kale and ginger are powerhouse superfoods, but aren't the most pleasing for younger palates. With the addition of bananas and blueberries, this smoothie can please consumers of all ages.
1 ripe banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 tsp. peeled, grated ginger
2 1/2 cups kale leaves
1 cup almond milk
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. honey
- Pour almond milk in blender, followed by all other ingredients.
- Blend until desired consistency.
Almond milk may be replaced with a different variety of milk if desired.
