The traditional deli sandwich—pastrami on rye—gets an upgrade with Hellmann's® Real Horseradish Dijon Sauce, gruyere or Emmentaler cheese and pickles, all grilled with Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise.
Ingredients
2 slices Bread, rye, or sour rye
1 oz Hellmann's Real Horseradish Dijon Sauce
1 oz Gruyere or Emmentaler, thinly sliced
4 oz Pastrami, thinly sliced
2 oz Pickle, dill, sandwich sliced
1 oz Hellmann's or BestFoods Real Mayonnaise or as needed
Steps
Spread each slice of bread evenly with Hellmann’s® Real Horseradish Dijon Sauce. On one slice of bread, layer 4 oz. pastrami, 1 oz. cheese and 2 pickle slices. Top with remaining bread slice.
Spread outside of sandwich (both sides) lightly with Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise. Place in panini grill or on griddle until cheese melts and sandwich is heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.
