Liberty University and its foodservice provider Sodexo recently hosted an employee appreciation carnival which featured a variety of games including Plinko, skee-ball, four corners and alien toss. Dining leadership ensured every employee was able to attend the carnival by providing an extended one-and-a-half-hour break. The school’s transit system also provided transportation services. Employees could win tickets at each game which could then be exchanged for employee coupons. Some of the coupons up for grabs included a free 15-minute late pass, a one hour lunch break pass and a leave 30 minutes early pass.

In addition, at the event, over $2,000 worth of prizes were given away to employees. Employees received Roku TV’s, Bluetooth speakers, Magic Bullet Blenders, electric griddles and Liberty University merchandise.

"I hope our employees took away how much we appreciate all of their efforts and commitment on a daily basis to providing exceptional service to the students and staff on this campus,” said Todd Reynolds, GM of retail dining at Liberty University, in a statement. "It also gives us a chance to connect with all of our employees on campus to create a sense of unity. It also gives our employees a chance to have some fun while they are at work."
