Chartwells Higher Education is once again hosting its Delight-Ful event.

Now in its third year, the nationwide, week-long event encourages students to share random acts of kindness in their community.

For this year’s celebration, the foodservice provider is offering a special ‘Dine and Delight’ menu which features students’ favorite dishes, including all-day waffle, hashbrown, and egg breakfast bowls, funfetti dessert pizza and spicy California sushi rolls with sriracha aioli.

Conversation starters will be placed at tables to encourage students to connect while they enjoy their meals. The tables will also be covered in paper tablecloths that students can write words of encouragement on.

Along with carrying out random acts of kindness to each other, students will also be able to show kindness to themselves by participating in different professional development events such as resume-building workshops, getting professional headshots and more.

"Delight-Ful has always been a way for students to connect and give back to the community, so we're excited to host events for students to dine together and showcase their delight for the communities they live in," Salli Darden, chief brand officer for Chartwells Higher Education, said in a statement. "Providing students with the opportunity to connect with other colleagues and the community through outreach activities and food is a priority for Chartwells."

Delight-Ful is part of Chartwells Higher Ed’s Joy-Ful campaign which aims to help students connect with each other on campus through different events held throughout the school year.
