Children are to blame for the lack of z’s in the life of Wesley Delbridge, director of food and nutrition at Chandler Unified School District in Mesa, Ariz.—not little ones of his own, but the health of all children across the United States. “Between feeding hungry kids and combating childhood obesity, we are at an important crossroads in history where we can intervene and improve the health of our children and the world,” says Delbridge, 35. “Child nutrition is the key to that change, and we need to find ways to motivate kids and families to eat better, feel better and live better.”
