While Barnes’ kosher meals are provided through an authorized caterer, the 1,206-bed facility offers service at two cafeterias, as well as the Queeny Tower Restaurant, which has been open for more than 40 years. Central Table, opened as a food hall in 2013, recently reopened as a full-service restaurant touting a full bar, as well as a menu of local and sustainable ingredients. Morrison Healthcare, Barnes’ foodservice vendor, is using the concept as a pilot site for future projects.
