We offered a vegan dessert cooking class for students. We have a highly skilled vegan baker here at Kalamazoo, and we receive a lot of great feedback about our vegan desserts that are offered in the dining hall, so we knew this was something the students would be interested in. Not only did we have a large student response, we also had some of our own staff that wanted to attend. The students had a lot of fun working with their hands and knowing that what they made would be served to their peers in the dining hall the next day.
