Guide the way for staff

We created an orientation guide to help with the retention of staff. On the first day, we send them an email with the guide. On the seventh day, the area manager reviews the guide with them, and then one month in I have a luncheon and review the guide with them. compass

I also ask what improvements can be made and use this information to do process improvements. I also ask where they found out about the position they applied for and what role they applied for. I then share this with our recruitment/HR department. New employees love it and feel special.
