Sodexo debuts senior dining initiative aimed at baby boomers
Bistro 464 seeks to suit more adventurous tastes.

Sodexo has launched Bistro 464, a new restaurant option in the senior living communities it serves.
The new service aims to attract baby boomers by providing both casual and upscale menu items made with local, seasonal ingredients along with a variety of healthy options. Aligning with conclusions reached by Sodexo, a recent Foodservice Director survey found that today’s senior living residents are seeking more diverse, higher-end menu items than in the past.
Bistro 464 is expected to open over 100 locations in the first year and aims to impart the feel of a special occasion eatery, Sodexo says. The concept is somewhat flexible, allowing each location to take on a unique site name.
