Baylor University’s Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty will continue to deliver meals this summer to rural students in Texas, New Mexico, Utah and Alaska.

Schools in Eau Claire County in Wisconsin can receive up to $1,000 in grant funding to help them operate their own food waste program.

The USDA will provide almost $1.3 billion to states to help schools procure American-grown products for their nutrition programs.

The money will be distributed to 10 farm-to-school programs in the state.

The state is one of the latest chosen by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to participate in the direct-certification program.
