The first Parent Food Show in April invited district parents to taste-test menu items and watch healthy recipe demonstrations from Rudy Poindexter, who has appeared on The Food Network’s “Chopped.” The show is part of the district’s Power Up campaign, which encourages students to eat breakfast and lunch at school.
