Spicy Mezcal & Watermelon

The restaurant Spruce Peak in Vermont combines watermelon puree, lemon juice and simple syrup with smoky mezcal, rimming the glass with chili pepper salt for a kick of spice. Watermelon slices garnish the drink, along with mint.
