Health system awarded USDA grant to begin farm-to-school program with local districts

Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Ind., will work with at least five nearby school districts to create an in-depth farm-to-school plan.

The Universal School Meals Program Act would eliminate any requirements needed for free school meal eligibility.
