Steve Maiocco has been hired as assistant director of dining and executive chef at the State University of New York at Canton. Maiocco came to Canton from SUNY-Potsdam, where he was the executive chef.
According North Country Now, Maiocco will be responsible for overseeing food production at all campus foodservice units, including catering services. He also will handle employee training.
Maiocco is a 2004 graduate of Johnson & Wales University.
