San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, a senior living community in San Francisco has partnered with indoor farm company Farmshelf to install an indoor farm at its campus.
The new farm will allow the dining team managed by Morrison Living to incorporate house-grown herbs and vegetables into meals, reducing the need for plastic packaging and deliveries.
The team is also hoping the farm will provide engagement for residents who are isolated due to COVID-19 since they will be able to watch produce in the farm grow.
