Scarborough School District in Scarborough, Maine, will be offering a curbside Thanksgiving meal to the community later this month, The Press Herald reports.
This will be the fifth time the school's foodservice team has served a Thanksgiving meal to the community.
Diners can expect a traditional Thanksgiving meal with dishes such as turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and more. The meals will be free, but diners are encouraged to make a donation.
Food will be packaged in heat-proof contains and placed into diners’ trunks.
The nutrition team expects to serve around 500 people this year.
