Prescott Unified School District in Prescott, Ariz., has launched a virtual gardening program while students are out of school due to COVID-19, The Daily Courier reports.
The program is being led by the district’s farm-to-school coordinator, the county’s health coordinator and one of the district’s librarians.
The program features videos uploaded to the district’s YouTube channel that show tips for how to start a garden at home and also includes recipes for healthy items that students and parents can make together, such as kale smoothies.
