Broward County Schools in Broward, Fla., invited veterans to enjoy a free meal this Tuesday in honor of Veterans Day.
The schools served rotini pasta with meat sauce, garlic bread sticks, fresh sliced cucumber, steamed broccoli, chilled peaches and a holiday cookie, for veterans and students.
In order to participate, veterans had to provide proof of service such as by showing their U.S. Uniformed Services ID card or come wearing their uniform.
