After former Chartwells Manager Julio Narvaez passed away earlier this year, the nutrition team at Bay District Schools and its greater community in Panama City, Fla., hosted a cereal box challenge in his honor.

Students at the district ended up collecting 15,000 boxes of cereal to be donated to the nearby food bank. The team also held a livestreamed cereal box “domino run” last week, during which students lined up the cereal boxes like dominoes and toppled them.

“Julio was dedicated to our community,” Sharon Michalik, director of communications for Bay District Schools, said during the event. “We wanted to think of a way to give back to the community because that's what Julio was all about.”
