Reebok has pulled all soda, sugary beverages, energy drinks and candy bars from its corporate campus in Canton, Mass.
In addition, the sports company won’t offer fried foods, pasta or white breads in its cafeterias, instead replacing them with nuts, fruits and vegetables. The decision is part of a wider initiative to reduce offerings that contain added sugar, according to a release.
“After [hearing] directly from many of our employees here, we felt removing sugary products from our headquarters was simply the right thing to do,” President Matt O’Toole said in a statement. “As a fitness company, we know how important it is to move—to use our body as it was meant to be used—but what we put in our bodies is equally as important.”
