N.M. passes bill to eliminate reduced-price lunch copayments

Students who qualify for reduced-price lunches will no longer have to pay.

New Mexico has passed a law eliminating reduced-price lunch copayments, KRQE reports

Under the new law, students who qualify for reduced-price meals will now receive free breakfast and lunch. The Public Education Department will receive $650,000 to fully subsidize the meals.
