Sodexo has partnered with Just to serve its plant-based Just Egg product at its higher education, healthcare and corporate sites throughout the country.
Made primarily from mung bean, Just Egg’s ingredients use 98% less water, 83% less land and emit 93% less carbon dioxide equivalent than traditional animal sources, according to a release.
The partnership builds on Sodexo’s Better Tomorrow 2025 strategy, which includes reducing the company’s carbon emissions by 34% by 2025.
