The Houston County Bar Association in Houston County, Ga., has donated $1,500 to the Houston County Nutrition Program to get rid of lunch debt at 19 schools in the area, WGXA reports.
The funds helped over 200 students with overdue balances on their meal accounts. The Bar Association says the donation was sourced from unused funds that were originally slated for a meeting that was canceled due to COVID-19.
