A new restaurant is coming to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia via the partnership between Aramark’s Sports + Entertainment division and Starr Restaurants.

That restaurant, called Adrian, is set to replace The Grille at the Wells Fargo Center.

Adrian will serve American-style cuisine, including steaks, chops, sandwiches and burgers. It will also have vegetarian and seafood options, as well as appetizers and desserts.

The restaurant, designed by Rockwell Group, will highlight Philadelphia sports teams with traditional accents and feature lighting similar to an upscale tavern. The companies said the dining area will fit approximately 300 customers.

“Adrian is poised to deliver an elevated game-day dining experience, all in a unique atmosphere that pays homage to the city of Philadelphia and its iconic sports history,” said Alison Birdwell, president and CEO of Aramark Sports + Entertainment.

Wells Fargo Center is undertaking a $350 million transformation project that includes the new restaurant, which will debut as a part of the center’s new Club Level. The Club Level will feature a premium seating entrance and lobby, new seating options and an open floor layout. It will also offer exclusive retail, themed whiskey and tequila bars, and new entertainment and service technologies.

“As we’ve transformed the arena, we’ve focused on making every part of the venue top-of-the-line, but we’ve also made sure that every part of the new Wells Fargo Center represents the great city of Philadelphia and its incredible history,” said Valerie Camilo, president of Wells Fargo Center. “Adrian is a perfect example of that—it will be a world-class restaurant with an unmistakable Philly feel.”

Aramark acquired a minority stake in Starr Restaurants late last year.
