The dining team at Clinch Memorial Hospital in Homerville, Ga., is starting a farm-to-table program at the hospital’s cafe, Valdosta Today reports.
The hospital partnered with an Atlanta-based business that acts as a liaison between the hospital and local farmers to help launch the program.
Already, the hospital has received local produce such as kale, turnip and collard greens. The food will be served to both patients and staff.
