Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aiken, Minn., is hosting a monthly farm-to-fork meal in the hospital’s cafeteria, Aitkin Age reports
The meals are part of Farm-2-Riverwood, a program that aims to improve health and nutrition among hospital staff, patients and guests. Once a month, cafeteria staff create a meal using 100% locally sourced food.
The hospital plans to serve the monthly meals throughout the entire next year.
