Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill., has installed a smart fridge to provide food to customers even when the cafe is closed, Advantage News reports.
In order to use the machine, guests swipe their credit card to unlock the door and are only charged when an item is taken out.
Guests can choose from a variety of options including sandwiches, salads and fruit cups.
