Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, N.M., donates 24 meals each week to a local center for at-risk youth, Ruidoso News reports.
The hot meals are prepared by the hospital’s cafeteria staff and are sent to the High Mountain Youth Project, a facility that provides students with access to tutoring, laundry facilities, job-readiness training and other services.
Lincoln County Medical Center’s chief hospital director says it is one of the ways the hospital is trying to give back to the community.
