Cafeteria staff at Van Wert Health in Van Wert, Ohio, have begun delivering meals to the homes of some of their regular diners, The Times Bulletin reports.
Staff began delivering the meals after the hospital cafeteria was shut down to the public due to COVID-19. While they couldn’t deliver meals to all of their diners, staff wanted to do something special for the customers who have been dining with them consistently for years.
One recipient of the meals is a man who staff say has been eating breakfast in the cafeteria every day for 13 years.
