Palm Beach County School District
Palm Beach County School District is working with Living Hungry, Farm Share and the South Florida Hunger Coalition to provide 1 million boxes of food over the next few months, beginning with spring break, according to the Palm Beach Post. The boxes are filled with 18 products, including cereal, canned ravioli, pudding, raisins and shelf-stable milk. An estimated 35,000 students from 90 elementary and high schools will receive the 3-pound boxes of food. "We are ending hunger for spring break. No kid should have to go hungry," Maura Plante, founder of Living Hungry, told the newspaper.
