With more and more students looking for diverse, high-quality and reasonably priced meals, college and university campus dining has evolved significantly, according to The Street.
Recently, Niche compiled a list of the top 10 colleges with the best campus food with Virginia Tech and Washington University in St. Louis taking the top two spots. Rankings for the list were compiled by data taken from student surveys and meal plan costs.
Sustainable dining has also been making waves in the campus-dining world, as students are asking for more locally sourced meal options. FoodService Director also recently reported on Food Tank, who named several universities that are meeting the needs of its students by purchasing and preparing food sustainably.
