Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bar

Chocolate chip cookies form the crust of this New York-style cheesecake bar.
Ingredients
Cookie Dough
1/2 lb. room temperature butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 cups flour
4 cups chocolate chips
New York Cheesecake
2 1/2 lb. softened cream cheese
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp. butter
5 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup sour cream
Steps
- Line bottom of 9x13 pan with 2/3 cookie batter. Par-bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over par-baked cookie dough. Break the remaining cookie dough on top and return to oven.
- Bake at 350°F until cheesecake sets, about 30 to 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cut into 16 slices.
