Millennials and Gen Zers are heavy drinkers—of nonalcoholic beverages, that is. Of the 1,500 consumers Technomic surveyed for its 2016 Beverage Consumer Trend Report, respondents in the 18-34 age group purchase drinks away from home four times a week (compared to three for older consumers). And they have more discerning, adventurous tastes. These are three trends catching their attention.
