University’s food truck district may be a ‘go’

Temple University’s food truck vending district could start operating sometime this year, reports The Philadelphia Business Journal.

Mayor Michael Nutter signed the ordinance last month that would regulate food trucks on the university’s campus. Some details are still undecided, like the cost to vend on campus, according to the Journal.

"We're still looking to refine the schedule internally, so that may change and flip a little bit. If we can do this over winter break, that would be great because then we're minimizing the disruption to their businesses," Beverly Coleman, assistant VP for community relations, told the Journal.
