After winning a contest to name a new campus dining hall, a University at Buffalo student has received $500 in dining dollars as his prize, reports The Spectrum.
Junior Sayre Stowell suggested “One World Cafe” as the name for the new globally inspired eatery, which was voted on by students at the Buffalo, N.Y., campus in April. Nearly half of the 600 students who cast votes chose his entry.
One World Cafe is slated to open in 2020.
