James ‘Jim’ Little, co-founder of noncommercial foodservice consultancy Cini-Little, passed away on June 13. Little had been diagnosed with leukemia several months ago, and fought a brief but courageous battle with the disease, according to a statement from Cini-Little.
“Jim was a visionary consultant to the industry, a generous mentor to our colleagues, and an outstanding partner, gentleman and friend,” said John Cini, who founded Cini-Little with Little in 1985. “I will sorely miss him.”
Throughout his 50-year career, Little was responsible for a number of large foodservice projects at locations including Universal Studios theme parks, Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Malaysia, several Olympic sports facilities, major league stadiums in North America and overseas, as well as a number of healthcare and education facilities, and hotels.
