Broward County Public Schools invites veterans, active military to share lunch with students

Broward County Public Schools in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is inviting family members who are active military or veterans to join students for a complimentary lunch in honor of Veterans Day.

Scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9, family members who RSVP and show proof of service such as a U.S. Military ID card will be able to join students for a meal during a designated lunch period.
