Our theme this year is Going Local in the Northwest. We are featuring foods from Washington state and the inland Northwest. We received $314,000 in fresh fruit and vegetable grant dollars for 11 of our highest need schools. It is a great way to model healthy eating and expose students to food items that are often not seen at lower-income homes.
