We had this vision of working together to create a program that would focus on student-driven research projects on different food trends in the industry, which would help us change the culture in the dining hall. In one project, a student gathered recipes from fellow students’ families. We prepared those recipes, and students held a taste test and voted for their favorites. Their top favorite items went on the menu for the semester.
