One of the ways we celebrated Earth Day this year was by incorporating fresh herbs into some of the dishes served at each station, such as Mint Chicken and Basil Pasta. We then placed “gardens” of those herbs in galvanized buckets at the corresponding station. Guests entered a raffle to win the gardens. The winners chose which herb variety they wanted and were also given a pair of gardening gloves. People really enjoyed it and got excited to pick which herb they wanted.
