When the federal sequester cost Lutheran Social Services to lose funding, we were afraid we were going to lose seniors who would normally come to our site for lunch. So we began selling $6 guest passes for meals. This allowed those seniors who were still interested in having a meal with us to continue to come until the Lutheran program came back on line.
