We do an annual employee recognition event on one of the two days we’re closed during the year. Managers and some of the student workers come in, and we bring a pizza vendor in to prep food using our ovens. Everyone dresses up in ’80s garb, and we have karaoke. This was great because our employees—especially our younger employees who really took over the event—don’t want it to be formal anymore.
