The Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) recently released its 2018 Summer Nutrition Status Report, which offers insight into which states are making strides with summer meal program participation. The report ranked each state based on how many children took part in its summer meal programs during July 2017, compared to its school meal participation among low-income students during the previous school year. Here are the top 10 performing states.
